The European data protection law gives the right to each person to obtain a copy of the personal data that a company holds (right of access). This law also applies to Facebook.
Any user with a residence located outside the US or Canada signed a contract with "Facebook Ireland Limited" company based in Dublin (Ireland).
Anyone living outside the US or Canada has the right of access to its data.

This application will let you know everything that Facebook has registered about you. Moreover, it will show to Facebook that their users are interested in protecting their data!

    Online Form: Not recommended !

Facebook withdrew the online control form after receiving thousands of queries the November 4th. Now users are redirected to a "download tool" that does not offer a real right of access! By using this tool, you will get a copy of your profile, and not all of the data that Facebook holds or automatically generated. In reality, you only get about 29% of your data! We do not recommend using the online form because you will lose your access by using it!

     E-mail inquiry:

    1. Regulate your situation: If you provided a false name or a false date of birth on Facebook, you must correct them before making a request for access to your data.

    2. Fill our form: Open the mail model that we have prepared and provide your name, email address and date of birth. Click HERE.

    3. Send this email: After you send email, Facebook has 40 days to respond to your request.

    4. Get an automatic response: Facebook should answer with a form letter assuring you of his respect to your privacy: ''Do not worry: your access request is valid''. The fact that Facebook answeres by a standard letter changes nothing: they must still send your data.
