How to Set Password on HTC Windows Phone 8X

To protect the personal information in your HTC Windows Phone 8X phone, you are strongly recommended to set a password to it by referring to the procedures illustrated below.

1.    Slide left on the Start screen.

2.    Choose Settings and select Lock screen.

3.    Tap the On/Off switch to turn on Password.

4.    Enter and reenter the password respectively in the boxes as requested.

Tip: The password should contain at least 4 characters, including at least 1 letter.

5.    Click Done when finished.

Later, you or anyone else will be requested to input the password whenever turning on the phone.
