According to the report, another robot, of 20kg and with a flying speed of50 to 100 km/hour will be there. It has an infra-red radiometer for observing ice on the sea and an aerial camera.

The Chinese expedition team of 219 explorers will be in 2 seismic station in Antarctica to measure tremors and tectonic movements on the continent. In this 24th expedition of Chinese scientists to Antarctica they will try to find whether there is ice as old as 1.5 million years on the continent.
